Basic Concepts
Uneven movement
With uneven movement, the speed changes, and the average ground speed is equal to the entire path divided by the entire time.
The average speed does not have to coincide with the speed on each section and even takes into account the time of stops.
Uniform movement
Movement is uniform if the body travels equal distances in any equal intervals of time.
In a graph of path versus time, a constant speed gives a straight line, and its slope shows the value of the speed.
Acceleration
A quantity showing how much the speed of a body changes per unit time.
At a basic level, acceleration helps differentiate acceleration and deceleration from moving at a constant speed.

Velocity
The distance a body travels per unit time during uniform motion.

Change in body speed per unit time.

Uniform speed
Speed is equal to the distance traveled divided by the time of movement.
Path with uniform motion
The path is equal to the product of constant speed and time of movement.
Uniform motion time
Time is equal to the distance divided by the constant speed of movement.
Average acceleration
Acceleration is equal to the change in speed divided by the time of change.
